Help Us Make A CLEAN SWEEP

Each year the City of Lloydminster cleans  tonnes of sand and debris from over 600 kilometres of roads. The work done by City crews helps keep our streets safe for all kinds of vehicle traffic,
and keeps Lloydminster Shining! Every street within the city is swept each year.
Weather permitting, street sweeping in the commercial areas and on major roadways
begins in mid-April and the residential campaign begins mid-May.
Here's how you can help us make a Clean Sweep!

Parked vehicles are a problem!

Parked vehicles make it impossible to clean your street properly. Residents will be notified by on-street barricade signs or mail box notices.  Areas with high parking concentration -
"NO PARKING" signs will be used.

Watch for the barricade signs OR mail box notice.
At least one day prior to your street being swept, you will be notified.
 Please follow the instructions carefully.

How can you help?

Make sure all cars are removed from the street for the entire time period indicated.
Remind a neighbour to move their vehicle - they might not have seen the notification.
You can also assist the cleaning process by sweeping sanding materials from your driveway and sidewalks onto the road before the street sweepers arrive.

Thank you for your cooperation.
