TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:         Full-time 
RATE OF PAY:                        $12.54- $14.00/hour
                                            (Subject to C.U.P.E. Local 1015 Agreement)

QUALIFICATIONS:     The following certifications are required as a minimum:

1. Standard First Aid
   

2. CPR - C (Basic Rescuer)
   
3. National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS)
   
4. Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (RLSSC)
   
5. WSI Instructor
   
6. Together with previous experience in the operation of an Indoor Pool Facilitiy.

Applicant must be in good physical condition.

DUTIES:     The Lifeguard Instructor provides necessary supervision and protection for pool patrons in accordance with recognized procedure and instructs swimming lessons as well as carrying out daily pool maintenance duties.  This position involves the assignment of alternate duties on occasion.
