"NAME THAT ROAD" Contest

City of Lloydminster

RM of Britannia

County of Vermilion River

RM of Wilton

Seek assistance from the public 
for the road naming of a continuous ring road system

Themes

  • Historical Places, Names and Events that helped shape the region

  • A "ring road" name reflecting the circling of the City; OR

  • Name reflecting the co-operation between the municipalities

Contest Rules

Residents living within the corporate boundaries of the participating municipalities are eligible, except for members of the ILC 9Steering); respective Councils and their direct family members.  A special joint meeting between the participating municipalities and the members of the ILC will be held to select the finalists.  If more than one finalist has submitted the same road name, their entry will be placed into a draw to determine the winner.  Winners will be notified by telephone.
