CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
1. Council consideration of the Corporate Affairs Committee recommendation to approve the Fire Department Report for the month of December 2009.
2. Council consideration of the Corporate Affairs Committee recommendation to approve the Annual Fire Department Report for 2009.
3. Council consideration of the Corporate Affairs Committee recommendation to approve the holdback release to Fraser Bros. Roofing Ltd. In the amount of $6,082.40 plus GST for the roof replacement at the Bud Miller Park Center building.
4. Council consideration of the Corporate Affairs Committee recommendation to approve entering into the financial contribution agreement between the City and Province of Saskatchewan, Municipal Affairs, for the one third contribution by Saskatchewan in the amount of $451,733.00 to the Communiplex renovation Project approved under the Recreation Infrastructure Canada (RinC) program and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign and seal the document.
5. Council consideration of the Corporate Affairs Committee recommendation to approve entering into the Alberta Affordable Housing, Municipal Block Funding conditional Grant Funding Agreement for the 2009/2010 year which provides assistance of $669,686.00 to the new Libbie Young Centre Project and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign and seal the document.
6. Council consideration of the Corporate Affairs Committee recommendation to .approve the borrowing request of the Pioneer Lodge Management Committee in the amount of $750,000.00 and that the City take the lead in acquiring the funds for the Lodge, subject to the consent, approval and proportionate guarantee from the Council's of the Villages of Marwayne, Kitscoty, Paradise Valley and County of Vermilion River.
ENGINEERING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE
1. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation to approve the 2010 Equipment Pool Replacement report dated December 30, 2009.
2. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation that Administration proceed with 2010 Equipment Pool Replacement tendering process.
3. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation to accept the proposal submitted by BAR Engineering Co. Ltd. to provide engineering services for the 2010 Street Improvement Program at an estimated cost of $43,500, plus GST, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign and seal all necessary documents.
4. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation to adopt, in principle, the "Pavement Rehabilitation Strategy Study (44 Street from 62 Avenue - 80 Avenue)" submitted by EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. dated January 2010.
5. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation to award the design and tender for the 44 Street (62 Avenue - 80 Avenue) rehabilitation project to EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. of Edmonton, Alberta, in the amount of $42,423 plus GST, and that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign and seal all necessary documents.
6. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation to release the remaining Contract Lien Fund Holdbacks for the 2008 Surface Improvement Program to ASL Paving Ltd. in the amount of $99,640.22 plus GST.
7. Council consideration of the Engineering and Transportation Committee recommendation to release the Contract Lien Fund Holdbacks for the 2009 Street Improvement Program to Alberta Asphalt Enterprises Inc. in the amount of $175,644.54 plus GST.

2. Council consideration of the Planning and Development Committee recommendation to instruct the City Clerk to prepare a Bylaw to adopt the National Building Code of Canada 2005.
